THROWDOWN To Enter Studio In January
November 22, 2006Orange County, CA-based band THROWDOWN will enter the studio mid-January to begin recording its new album, "Venom and Tears", tentatively due next spring via Trustkill Records.
Commented bassist Matt Mentley: "It is coming along awesome, and we can't wait to get in the studio to start recording. Right now we have about eight songs done musically. We also have about another seven or eight that are real rough drafts at this point. It is for sure the most material we have ever had going into recording, so we are gonna have a really hard time deciding what is gonna make the final cut."
THROWDOWN's last CD, "Vendetta", came out in June 2005 through Trustkill. The follow-up to the band's breakthrough album, "Haymaker", was produced by Zeuss (HATEBREED, SHADOWS FALL).
